Sangsu-dong is the part of Hongdae that the kids who actually live in Hongdae moved to. It's quieter, has better coffee, slightly cheaper rent, and the walking pace is half what it is on Hongik University street. On Sundays I walk from my friend Jiyun's place to Beanside, which takes maybe twelve minutes and involves passing two record stores and a bookshop that's only open three days a week. The outfit for this is what I think of as adjusted streetwear — cargo, hoodie, sneaker, but everything tightened a little so it reads more 'has a creative job' than 'on the way to a skatepark.' The hoodie is fitted in the crop, not boxy in the body. The cargo isn't flapping. The sneaker is the kind people stop you to ask about. If you swap the hoodie for the trench from Edit 003, this becomes a perfectly valid spring outfit. I think of it as the same uniform layered differently.
