How we handle your data.

When you visit OOTD.style we collect the basics any website does: your IP address, the pages you view, the referring URL, your browser and device, and a timestamp. This is logged so we can keep the site running and understand which edits people read.

If you sign up for an account or our newsletter, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. If you save items to your list, those saves are stored against your account.

We do not collect payment information. Purchases happen on Amazon (or another retailer) and we never see your card.

We use cookies for two things: keeping you signed in, and measuring traffic. Our analytics provider records aggregated visit data — pages per session, country, device — but does not identify you personally.

When you click an outbound link to a retailer, that retailer (most commonly Amazon) sets its own cookies on your browser. We don't control those, and they're governed by the retailer's privacy policy.

OOTD.style is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

When you click an Amazon link on this site and make a purchase, we receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. The commission goes toward hosting, writers, and the items we order to actually try.

We may also use other affiliate programs from time to time. Those will follow the same disclosure rule: if a link can earn us a commission, we say so.

We use the data we collect to operate the site, debug problems, send you the content you asked for (newsletter, account notifications), and understand which edits resonate. We do not sell your personal data. Ever.

We rely on a handful of third-party services to run OOTD.style — for hosting, analytics, email delivery, and outbound link routing. Each of those providers has its own privacy policy, and they handle the data they receive in line with their own terms. We choose providers we believe handle data responsibly.

You can ask us to show you the data we hold on you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete your account entirely. Email hello@ootd.style and we'll handle it within 30 days. If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA — same email, same process.

This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone in that age group. If you believe a child has provided data, write to us and we'll remove it.

We'll update this page when our practices change. The date at the bottom is when it last moved. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage or by email.
